Res-tech company names Lamia Lee as General Manager of the region

Walr [walr.com], the data creation company behind the Walr Platform, has appointed Lamia Lee to head up its operations in the APAC region. Joining as General Manager, Lee’s appointment reflects the company’s continued expansion worldwide, with a presence in the UK, USA, Norway, India, Canada, North Macedonia and now Australia.

Lee brings 15 years of experience in the market research industry to the role, with previous positions held at Lucid Holdings Inc, Dynata, Kantar and Teg Insights. Her career has focused on market segmentation, behavioural data, insight generation, and strategy development. Additionally, Lee was shortlisted for the 2022 Women Leading Tech award from B&T Magazine.

It was immediately clear I was going to be part of a dynamic environment and talented team. The positive culture at Walr really stands out, and heading up this new territory is an exciting role.”

Ben Walton, CCO at Walr adds, “Kickstarting the year by expanding into the APAC region has been an outstanding achievement.
