How scientific minds should meet
Totem today launches Sci+Med, a new events platform built specifically for the medical, scientific and pharmaceutical industries.
Sci+Med allows companies to build their own white-labelled bespoke branded hybrid event landscapes using the proven Totem events technology, developed with the aim of reimagining the virtual events landscape in the wake of COVID-19.
But medical, scientific and pharmaceutical companies have specific requirements for the hybrid events that they hold. Sci+Med has been designed with the key needs of these industries in mind, so that they are no longer forced to make their events fit the technology.
Events organisers can choose the type and size of their events to be anything from interactive advisory boards, internal training sessions, small meetings, large scale investigator meetings and symposiums.
They can use Sci+Med to create personalised schedules to tailor specific content and value to each attendee’s experience. Poster sessions can be hosted, providing delegates with the ability to read and download posters, then speak directly and connect with their authors. Delegate bags can be pre-loaded with key materials and documentation and users can provide unique session-specific seat drops for review and download.
Utilising Totem technology, events can be customised to perfectly adapt to the size, type and branding required for each meeting, whilst maintaining a consistent, streamlined experience throughout.
Safety and security are a priority for Sci+Med, and attendees can be assured that the entire system and events are completely isolated, with access only available through their environment.
Language Integration allows organisers to optimise the language of their events to meet the client and industry needs.
Organisers are also provided with full access to analytics including user data, making it easier for them to report back to sponsors, exhibitors and to track their attendees in real time.
Christopher Bo Shields, CCO and Co-founder, Totem, said: “Medical, scientific and pharmaceutical events are about progress and advancement – and the way these events are held should reflect that. With our fully hybrid Sci+Med platform, this is how scientific minds should meet.”
The news comes as Totem’s owner Binumi Pro is renamed as Bridge Event Technologies, to better represent the comprehensive range of technologies that the company is developing for the events sector.
