London, U.K. 30th May 2022: The UK’s fastest growing brewer, Pinter, has expanded its senior team with two significant hires.
Ted Charalambides joins the London-based brewer as Growth Director. Previously at Pact Coffee – the largest speciality coffee subscription service in the UK – he will be responsible for creating and executing the customer acquisition strategy at Pinter.
Elsewhere, Ted will lead the revamp of the Pinter website to further enhance the customer journey both pre and post purchase. Ted will also oversee Pinter’s consumer and trade PR and develop the marketing team – all with a view to finding, acquiring and retaining new Pinter customers.
Mike Miglore joins Pinter as Community Director after roles at the likes of News UK and Hope For Justice UK. In the role, Mike will be responsible for Pinter’s 16,000+ (and growing) community of brewers, focusing on customer strategy, data & analytics and value management including engagement, retention, loyalty and customer care.
Since its launch in 2020, Pinter has brewed over 3m pints of award-winning Fresh Beer in over 60,000 homes, making it not only the fastest growing but also the country’s second largest off-trade brewery. Based on weight and emissions savings in transit, Pinter is also the most sustainable way of delivering beer to people’s homes in the UK.
In its first year, more than £6m worth of Pinter products were sold, exceeding the combined first year trading sales of Mindful Chef, Brewdog and Gymshark. Pinter was also named a TIME Magazine invention of the year.
Ted Charalambides, Growth Director at Pinter, said:
“I jumped at the opportunity to join Pinter as I wanted to work for a brand that had sustainability at the core of its business – Pinter is the most efficient way of delivering fresh beer to your home, with each pack replacing 17 cans or bottles.
“Their success so far is nothing short of incredible, and beyond huge potential in the UK market, we’re looking to scale globally with Pinter’s stunning machine and offering of truly fresh beer.”
Mike Miglore, Community Director at Pinter, said:
“I’m delighted to be joining Pinter – their unwavering approach to offering the freshest beer to its dedicated community of customers was too good to turn down.
“Our planet faces an existential crisis and it’s up to us to do what we can to change it – I love that Pinter puts those values into practice and that the community embraces them wholeheartedly.
“I can’t wait to get to know – and celebrate – the Pinter community. They are, after all, why we do what we do.”
Adam Keary, Managing Director at Pinter, said:
“In Ted and Mike, we’ve hired two incredibly experienced and talented directors. Both have great experience across the subscription and community-centric sectors, and are as passionate about brewing fresh beer as the rest of the team.”
