Canto, a leading provider of digital asset management (DAM) software, has announced that it has added three new executives to its leadership team. “The company has experienced outstanding growth over the past five years, and we are excited about our potential moving forward,” noted Jack McGannon, Canto’s Chief Executive Officer. “With the addition of these three exceptional individuals, Canto is poised for even greater success”.
Joining Canto are:
Erica Gunn, Chief Marketing Officer. Erica has a rich background extending over marketing and operational leadership roles. Most recently, Erica was Head of Marketing for Adobe’s Workfront division. She has also held Vice President positions at Nordstrom and Planview and business operations roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Erica will oversee global marketing efforts for the company, driving demand generation, brand awareness and customer advocacy in support of Canto’s ambitious growth objectives.
Ed Schaffer, Chief Financial Officer. Ed is a seasoned financial and operational executive with over twenty years of leadership experience. He has worked as CFO in several B2B SaaS companies, including Hired, Leadspace and Rimini Street. Furthermore, he has held operational leadership positions with Monster Worldwide, oDesk and Intuit. With his broad background, Ed will be a valuable resource in the company’s strategic planning in addition to overseeing accounting, financial analysis, tax and administration activities at Canto.
Michael Phillippi, Chief Technology Officer. Michael joins Canto from Lytx, where he was Vice President of Technology for the past five years, overseeing a global technology team including hardware engineering, embedded software, AI, software engineering, data analytics, IT, and product operations. Michael has lead B2B SaaS technology organisations for the last 20 years. The Canto product has exhibited excellent product/market fit, and Michael will lead the effort to extend the product to meet the future needs of our customers.
