Activity designed to highlight the providence and sustainability of the brand
London, 19th August 2021: Brand Experience Agency, Avantgarde London, today announces the launch of Acesur’s La Española’s ‘Oliography’, with a website that showcases each individual bottle’s history and production process.
Each bottle will have a necktie contain a QR code of the lot number which refers to a specific harvesting region, milling and bottling plants, so we can track each bottle’s origin from the farm to the consumer.
Those visiting the platform will see the different types of olives, the places they are grown, the harvesting dates and methods, bottling plants and transport conditions – allowing them to track every stage of the 150-year-old process from the olive trees direct to their table and highlighting sustainability throughout.
Avantgarde has worked with Acesur since 2018 and with this particular campaign they are responsible for the strategy, concept, and design with help from Herdl, a data driven agency, which focused on each bottle’s unique QR code and the technology aspects of this concept. This QR code will be accessible online, via desktop and mobile platforms, encouraging consumers to visit the website via scanning their QR code and finding out about their bottle’s journey.
On the 19th of August, La Española will promote the launch of Oliography across their social channels, with supporting content created by a variety of foodie influencers.
Alessandro Tafuro, Project Manager and producer at Avantgarde said: “Transparency in its relationship with its consumers is important to the La Española Spanish Olive Oil brand and we wanted to improve the brand’s positioning amongst their competitors. We saw an opportunity to fill a market gap as currently none of La Española’s competitors are transparent about their oil’s origin. We thought this was the perfect way for us to help La Española showcase the quality and provenance of its product, to both existing consumers and a wider audience.”
Itxaso Oleaga – Acesur International Marketing Manager at Acesur said: “It has been a pleasure working together with Avantgarde on this fantastic project. I am certain this will help shape the positive perception of our products and provide a more in-depth overview about our heritage and authenticity.”
