London, 2nd February 2022: Award-winning social media agency Wilderness today announces the hire of six new team members across UK and Amsterdam, and a new international division in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The expansion follows Wilderness’ continued success in the UK and its Amsterdam office established in September 2019. The team aims to have cross-functional teams across Europe and the Denmark office specifically will enable the business to engage with local Nordic brands wanting to grow their reach.
The new hires include three additions to the central team, Rob Hall as Head of Creative, Rebecca Watson, Financial Director and Ruby Lloyd the agency’s new Marketing Manager, alongside three main team hires, including: Rae Low, an Account Director, Fred Bhat as Senior Social Strategist and Mollie Lyons, Senior Social Manager. Having spent nearly seven years in the broadcast industry, Fred will be taking on a more strategic leadership role, where he can utilise his breadth of broadcast content marketing experience. Mollie has four years’ experience within the industry, two of which were spent at a full performance digital marketing agency and will be focusing on heading up the team and strategy for clients.

Tom Jarvis, Founder and CEO at Wilderness says: “We had an exceptional 2021 at Wilderness, growing revenue by 87% year-on-year alongside a record-breaking Q4, up 253% on the previous year. With these new hires in place, we are building a team to help continue delivering success throughout 2022. As part of that, we are continuing our European expansion with a presence in Copenhagen and I’m excited for us to be supporting clients across the Nordics.”
Tilly Morgan Operations and People Director at Wilderness adds: “Growth is always an exciting challenge to master, especially when trying to break into new territories. This sort of expansion comes with exposure and access to new cultures which will help diversify our team as it gives us new talent pools to tap into. In turn this makes the work we produce more diverse and ultimately better, fostering our culture of excellence.”
