Illustrate Digital, a Cardiff-based website and software consultancy, has launched a global campaign in collaboration with WP Engine, the WordPress technology company responsible for handling 8% of the world’s daily website traffic.
The campaign aims to help marketers and IT managers compare and choose from the many website platform options available.
More specifically it helps align the world’s most popular website software, WordPress, as a serious contender in the enterprise technology space.
Benefiting from research conducted by UK-based Illustrate Digital and US-based WP Engine, the first in a series of in-depth guides explores the benefits of both Sitecore and WordPress.
This research is then combined with insider knowledge about both website platforms, creating a place where marketers and IT managers can quickly obtain all the information they need.
Scott Jones, CEO of Illustrate Digital says:
“This project has been a long time in the making for us, half a year to be exact. Though it’s been a big effort from ourselves and the WP Engine team, we are so happy with the result!
This guide should help marketing and IT professionals decide exactly which platform is right for them, and is the first of many that will help people navigate the digital landscape more clearly.”
Few organisations would be better suited to talk about both of these website options in such detail, as both Illustrate Digital and WP Engine are currently collaborating on a large-scale, international migration project.
The project involves transferring a website hosted in six languages from its existing Sitecore software over to WordPress.
Both collaborators are specialists in building and hosting WordPress, the world’s favorite content management system.
According to W3Techs, WordPress powers over 35% of the top 10,000 websites by traffic and holds an overall market share of 65%, more than all of the competing platforms combined.
The first guide in this series is available now via the Illustrate Digital website or WP Engine’s resource hub.
