Starting this January, businesses running flexible workspace are being offered six months’ free membership of the Flexible Space Association (FlexSA) . New members are being offered the full range of benefits and support free of charge for six months, recognising that the industry is stronger when it stands together.

As the professional trade body for the flexible workspace sector, representing around 1,000 locations across the UK, FlexSA supports its members, year-round, through a wide range of activities, including:

∙         Networking events bringing people working in the sector together

∙         Quick, bespoke advice when it’s most needed

∙         Latest reports and briefings specific to the workspace sector, plus access to document templates reviewed annually

∙         Exclusive insights and learnings from fellow members and lobbying from FlexSA

∙         A reputation-enhancing code of conduct and professional trade body logo to display on your channels

∙         Extensive learning opportunities

∙         Free to enter industry awards and company news and jobs sharing across FlexSA channels

Jane Sartin, Executive Director at the Flexible Space Association comments, “The flexible workspace industry is a diverse one, with businesses offering coworking space and serviced offices of different sizes, designs and in a wide variety of locations.  The Flexible Space Association is keen to grow its role in supporting this sector, as we know that as an industry we are better and stronger when we come together. Through offering the opportunity for companies to join us for free for six months to experience the benefits, we hope this will help to grow and strengthen the flexible workspace community for the long-term.”

FlexSA has an unprecedented reputation and history for championing and promoting its members’ interests to industry and government bodies. Recently, The Flexible Space Association has been lobbying on behalf of its members around the issue of a number of local authorities assessing overall workspace as a single large unit instead of assessing individual serviced offices for business rates. This would result in Small Business Rates Relief and Empty Rates Relief no longer being applicable to them.
