The lending application process is often prohibitively slow, magnifying the financial strain felt by SMEs. Nucleus Business Loans, however, bucks that trend. Businesses are able to access almost immediate lending with more than 95% of deals decisioned within just one minute.
The Nucleus Business Loan solution enables businesses to borrow from £10k up to £2m for a period of up to 6 years. With no personal guarantees required, interest rates of 6% are on offer with up to 12 months interest only for those businesses that meet the requisite criteria. Crucially, access to the new product requires a shorter period of trading history, meaning that younger businesses are able to get the financial support to match their ambition.
According to UK Finance, during the first quarter of 2022 gross lending to SMEs was £4.9 billion, £0.1 billion higher than the previous quarter. But the speed of lending is a hindrance. New research from NCF in fact found that one in five UK SMEs identified faster access to lending as key to encouraging business growth1.
Chirag Shah, Founder and CEO of Nucleus Commercial Finance comments: “UK SMEs are itching to grow, but too often opportunities fly past because of seemingly needless barriers placed in their way. It is often, rightly, said that SMEs are the engine of UK growth and yet traditional finance providers seem infuriatingly reluctant to deliver the dynamic and flexible lending products that are needed for them the achieve their potential.
“The UK economy is on the up and there are real tangible opportunities for businesses to seize. Ensuring that they have fast access to the necessary finance, empowering them to seize these growth opportunities, is paramount.”
